Santana – Breaking Down The Door ft. Buika

About the author

  1. Excited to share the new video for “Breaking Down the Door” ft. Buika (produced by Rick Rubin), the first single from the upcoming album Africa Speaks. Pre-order the album here:

  4. Wow! No me lo esperaba!!
Me encantó el tema y el video!!
Aguante Santana por siempre, la puta madre!!

  5. Aside from the video being well-produced – Carlos works well – the licks – not over indulgent…Thanks Rick…..

  6. Temazo!! Que pena que casi dos meses después no llegue al millón de reproducciones. Cuanto talento y que poco apoyo por parte de discográficas y radios.

  7. santana is still great and the music is so honest and unique. nothing fake about it, and the lyrics also unusual but well versed.

  8. WOW santana finally made an album WORSE than lotus album, last good album they made was guitar heaven! imho, and I'm a huge santana fan,but I call it as I hear it.

  9. Lo amo Santana que nota! 👩🏻‍🦳👩🏻‍🦳👩🏻‍🦳👩🏻‍🦳👩🏻‍🦳 🤘🏽 Recuerdos la muisca de las costa de mi pais Venezuela! Calipso!

  10. Hi Carlos,I’m excited to hear the new album on Concord Records I believe,I have not seen it in any stores in Johannesburg, hope to see it soon, please advise, thanks you for sharing.

  11. ❤💙❤💙❤💙❤💙❤💙💙💙💙💙💙💙❤❤❤❤❤❤💙💙💙💙💙💛💚💚💚💚💚💚💚❤❤❤💙💙💙💙💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💚💚💚💚💚💙

  12. I was super excited to hear of the Santana/Buika collaboration. Yet I am finding the songs hard to digest. Just like the visuals in this video, there is just too much going on. For example, what is the point of the accordion for all of 5 seconds? Maybe this is really just a big jamfest and shouldn't really care, but I don't feel like Buika is being featured but rather included.

  13. Thank you dear Santana:) Looking forward to see you again August 7, Cuyahoga Falls, OHIO…. Best wishes, great health and many more fantastic years and albums with soul and heart:)

  15. It is truly memorable as it transforms the sounds of Africa and the wonderful electric guitar into art. Sabor!

  16. Hey Carlos! Stopping by to show some love! Your music just keeps getting better and better!
I saw you a very long time ago at an outdoor concert at Stanford University and I was hooked for life!
Also wanted to tell you that your "commercial" here on YT for your Masterclass course is the ONLY commercial I've ever set through to the end!
Can't get enough of Carlos Santana!!

  17. Great work, Santana, but there is also a delicious version by Calypso Rose from The republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The original was done by Trinidad calysonian The Roaring Lion in 1938, simple titled Tina.

  18. Shout out the Late Rafael De Leon (The Roaring Lion) – composer, Drew Gonsalves and Calypso Rose for reviving this relevant song. Trinbago proud!

  19. The song is about domestic violence, I thought the video would have depicted that! A happy energetic melody but sad lyrics. Much blessings and kudos to Santana and the band and Rick Ruben who has always had an affinity and respect for Calypso music. I do hope this song tops the charts all over the world as it represents my country in many different ways, vintage in the Roaring Lion Jou'vert Barrio arrangement, Lyrics and adaptation by Drew Gonzales and Kobo Town (St James, Trinidad & Tobago) Manu Chao's arrangement on the Calypso Rose version using the same name as KoboTown and now Santana's dynamic version featuring Buika under the Title Breaking Down The Door!

  20. Santana and Buika is the combination we needed! 😊 Hot summer nights, tequila and sea, you may proceed! 🍋🍹🌴

  21. When you said African music wasn't done yet I thought this album would sound like something* from Ali Farka Touré. Listened to the whole album today off apple music. You put Afrika on fire! Its Awesome!

  22. This album came up on my Apple Music feed, I put it on just to check it out for a minute and kill some time. That was three days ago and I haven’t stopped listening to it since. This album is full of joy and soul, I love it. Great work Santana and the whole crew who worked on it. Beautiful album.

  23. I first learned about Buika from listening to this recording/video. She is truly amazing, I keep coming back to hear her stunning dark voice.

  24. Please colaboration with ….-ALIP -BA'-TA….he is gitaris multitalen and fenomenal from indonesia…..💖💖💖…i like it

  25. What a great vocalist, song arrangement… song video! It has everything. Just received the album for Grammy consideration. Just excellent!
