SHE WAS ALSO ASSIGNED A PUBLIC DEFENDER. THIS AFTERNOON, THE VIRGINIA BEACH CITY COUNCIL IS EXPECTED TO HOLD A WORKSHOP. ONE ITEM ON THE AGENDA INCLUDES WAYS TO MOVE FORWARD FOLLOWING MAY’S MASS SHOOTING AT THE MUNICIPAL CENTER. COUNCIL MEMBERS PLAN TO REVIEW RESULTS FROM A COMMUNITY SURVEY THAT ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT A PERMANENT MEMORIAL FOR THE VICTIMS AND THE FUTURE OF BUILDING 2.
